My Story

My journey with Paparazzi Accessories started in October 2013. My former teammate had just joined the company and was selling her jewelry at the office. After several purchases, she began to talk to me about becoming a consultant. After almost three months of listening to my “jewelry lady”, I decided to sign up. Selling products was not my “strong suit”. I had attempted to sell beauty but never put a lot into those businesses because I was not a big “make-up” person. I liked jewelry but I wasn’t big on costume jewelry so this was definitely going to be a challenge but with a $5 price point, what did I have to lose? My initial customer base was comprised of friends and members of my fraternal organization. It was fun, but I didn’t put a lot into it like my other businesses so the return on my investment was small. After the first couple of years, I really started paying attention to the successes of my fellow consultants and realized I was missing out on an opportunity that could truly change the lives of me and my family. I refocused, re-branded myself, wrote a new vision and began building my team. 

During several vendor events, I began to notice how involved my youngest daughter was becoming. She was the magnet that drew people to our table and when things were slow, she would go around the event space, talking to people about our business and escorting them over to our table or booth. I incorporated the Starlet Shimmer items into my product offering and allowed her to manage the sale of those items. Not only did she excel at selling the items for little girls she began to up sell the adult products creating a win-win environment for our business.  

It is a daily challenge to run my business with the level of expectancy I have placed on myself, especially since I still have a corporate job and have a lot on my plate as a single parent, while caring for an elderly parent but the rewards are well worth it.  

I currently hold the lifetime rank of Premier Director and have 17 business partners. 

Greater is ahead and I am coming for everything that has been promised to me.
